Etching, dry pastel and tempera
65x85

Daily Deviation

Given 2008-11-25

Flight by ~agyany is a masterful example of how etching and tempera can boast beautifully tangible textures, presented in an antiqued, romanticised palette. The highly inspired lines and breathtaking movements leaves one swept away, and spellbound. Please enjoy. (Suggested by `frozenpandaman and Featured by ^snowmask)

He thinks he is flying, he thinks he's free. And maybe he's happy. We realize his illusion, we can see it. And then someone watches us and thinks that maybe we're happy.

Beautiful colors and composition. But what I like the most is the "world" where this scene's located.

It's not where you're from that matters, it's where you're at.
